Our entry into Smash Ultimate
We at Team PHZ are thrilled to have new young talent on our side. Meet Hugo “Lancelot” Hujala, Finland’s most successful Super Smash Bros. Wii U player who is now on his way to becoming Finland’s best Super Smash Bros. Ultimate player as well.
For someone as young as Lancelot, he has made quite the impression amongst the Finnish players, with an average placement of 3rd or 4th in most of his tournaments. He placed 1st at L2P 2018, 5th at VCA 2018 and more recently he made his Smash Ultimate debut placement at Valhalla II, a major Smash Ultimate tournament held in Denmark with almost 400 attendees. There Lancelot was the highest placing Finnish player, coming in at 17th.
His goal is to keep on improving and to attend several larger European tournaments, while the Finnish Super Smash Bros. scene is supporting their prodigy every step of the way. The Finnish scene is currently doing its best in gathering votes for Lancelot to attend the Smash Ultimate Summit in San Francisco, CA. Even if the votes are not enough, ultimately the Finnish scene will gain more attention globally, all thanks to Lancelot and his achievements.
You will be able to see Lancelot representing us as early as this week! He will be playing at Schism 3 in Dublin, Ireland. When it comes to the Finnish side of things, he will be wearing our colors at LanTrek later this month alongside our League of Legends team!
